Hapé Medicine Ceremony

My journey into natural healing began with Breathwork and later expanded into Ceremonial Plant Medicine, including Hapé/Rapé. After my first Hapé Ceremony, I was in awe to the power of this medicine and how deeply it is connected to the breath, mind, and spirit. It felt like a natural continuation of my breathwork journey and an evolution of this healing modality.

What is Amazonian Hapé (Rapé)?

Hapé, or Rapé or Rapeh, is a powdered blend of sacred tobacco and medicinal herbs, typically made with mapacho. Known for its rapid and intense effects, it is administered through the nose, creating a feeling of alertness and elevation.

Hapé brings you to a state of heightened attention and awareness. It quiets the mind, clears negativity, and releases emotional tension. Many people feel more grounded during the experience, helping them resolve confusion or discomfort about issues they may be facing. It is a great medicine to balance the energy in the system and connect with your spirit.

When Hapé tobacco is administered, it is blown up the nostrils using a pipe. The effects of Hape can vary depending on the individual and the dosage, but they usually include a sense of grounding, clarity, and heightened awareness. Many people feel a solid connection to the earth and their inner wisdom. Hapé is also known to purify and cleanse properties and can be used to clear the sinuses and lungs.

Hapé Ceremony & Celebration

Hapé allows a connection to spirit and helps us tap into our inner strength and sensitivity while softening our egos. Hapé is a celebration of life facilitated by sacred plant medicine, allowing us to unite with great spirit. I treat it as a ceremony of the heart and dedicate my sessions to healing, prayer, and connection. I wish you a beautiful exploration of this powerful medicine.

Hapé from a Trusted Source: I purchase my Hapé through my Medicine Teachers, who source it directly from Indigenous communities in Brazil and Peru. It is the purest and highest quality available, prepared in a ceremonial and sacred way.
